Description:

In this paper, an observer-based speed sensorless field oriented control (FOC) algorithm is presented for induction machines. The state observer is based on a new, detailed observer model which describes the machine with seven state variables, i.e. with seven equations. Since these equations are strongly non-linear, the applied observer algorithm is the unscented Kalman filter (UKF). Using the advantages of the detailed non-linear model and the UKF algorithm, the state variables can be estimated adequately, including the rotor flux position. Using these variables a speed sensorless FOC structure has been developed.

Economical aspects of 3D virtual collaboration

Publication Name: 8th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications Coginfocom 2017 Proceedings

Publication Date: 2017-07-02

Volume: 2018-January

Issue: Unknown

Page Range: Unknown

Description:

Nowadays, 3D virtual collaboration is becoming increasingly fashionable and widespread, which was made possible by the improvement of end-user hardware and continuous software developments. The application of these tools may result in a number of positive effects on the processes of the given area, but the examination of their specific economic issues is far from being well-explored. In this paper, our objective is the analysis of the already perceptible economic effects and aspects of 3D virtual collaboration, as well as the overview of the methods by which specific financial impacts can be measured. Based on the review, we will try to develop a 3D virtual collaboration evaluation model that can be used to analyse the investment economic effects of a telework team in transition to a 3D virtual environment. Additionally, we will examine some educational relations.

Cognitive and spiritual revolution of the tenth century - Constantine porphyrogenitus and his hidden world: Part I. the Great Monarch's hidden world in the great medieval mystical writings

Publication Name: 8th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications Coginfocom 2017 Proceedings

Publication Date: 2017-07-02

Volume: 2018-January

Issue: Unknown

Page Range: Unknown

Description:

The paper deals, through a comparative hermeneutical macro and microanalysis, identical and very similar representational and meaning systems of such great medieval mystical writings as the Book Bahir, the Targum to Song of Songs and the Royal Mirror of St Stephen of Hungary. The basis of the comparison is the hidden ('highest') presence of the spirit of the Great Monarch. The 'identified' mystical patterns are compared with the representational and meaning systems in the great medieval art-works related to Constantine Porphyrogenitus in Part II of the paper.

Teaching coaching using 3D/VR technology in the light of intercultural knowledge

Publication Name: 8th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications Coginfocom 2017 Proceedings

Publication Date: 2017-07-02

Volume: 2018-January

Issue: Unknown

Page Range: Unknown

Description:

Teaching Coaching using 3D/VR Technological background may offer novel experience to learners regarding visual impact and content, which makes both imparting and learning new materials more efficient. Coaching, which is an individual and group-oriented human developing methodology, has become a widely recognized and applied methodology all over the world. Hence, intercultural knowledge has a special focus in teaching and in the practice of coaching.

Imaginative and interpretative 'cognitive revolution' of W. Pauli collaborating with C. G. Jung and constantine porphyrogenitus' hidden world

Publication Name: 8th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications Coginfocom 2017 Proceedings

Publication Date: 2017-07-02

Volume: 2018-January

Issue: Unknown

Page Range: Unknown

Description:

The paper deals with the reinterpretation of Wolfgang Pauli's 'cognitive revolution' of imagination and hermeneutical explanation cooperating with C.G. Jung. In the identification of the creative unconscious background processes (a concept introduced by Pauli himself) found in the dreams, imaginations and interpretations of Pauli and Jung, the number-archetypes, structures, patterns and meanings seem to be related to the hidden world of the great monarch Constantine Porphyrogenitus and his 'followers'.

Multi TP model transformation for functions with different numbers of variables

Publication Name: 8th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications Coginfocom 2017 Proceedings

Publication Date: 2017-07-02

Volume: 2018-January

Issue: Unknown

Page Range: Unknown

Description:

Models in the cognitive sciences and AI are typically based on heuristic combinations of soft computing methods - including fuzzy approaches, neural networks and others. It is often difficult, if not completely intractable to apply operations between such models, as they are usually given in different mathematical representations or using different frameworks that may or may not be suitable for their unification. This paper focuses on the TP model transformation, which plays an important role in transforming various model representations to a unified form that fits well with formalised mathematical design concepts. The novelty of the paper is a new extension of the TP model transformation that is capable of transforming a set of models with a different number of inputs. This is in contrast to previous solutions, in which the requirement for all models to have the same number of inputs was a strong limitation.

Cognitive and spiritual revolution of the tenth century - Constantine porphyrogenitus and his hidden world: Part II. the Great Monarch's hidden world in the great medieval artistic works

Publication Name: 8th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications Coginfocom 2017 Proceedings

Publication Date: 2017-07-02

Volume: 2018-January

Issue: Unknown

Description:

The paper discusses, through a comparative hermeneutical microanalysis, identical and very similar representational (iconographic) and meaning systems of such great medieval art-works as the Limburg Staurotheke, Orthodox Metal Icons and the 'Archangel enamel pictures' of the Holy Crown of St Stephen of Hungary. The basis of the comparison is the discussed hidden mystical writings of the Great Monarch in part I of the paper.
