Tensor Product Alternatives for Nonlinear Field-Oriented Control of Induction Machines

The paper presents a nonlinear field-oriented control technique based on the tensor product representation of the nonlinear induction machine model and the solvability of linear matrix inequalities. The nonlinear model has 32 quasi linear parameter-varying equivalent variants, and it is shown that only half of the models result in feasible controller. Two control goals are realized: torque control and speed control. The controller is a nonlinear state feedback controller completed by integral action. A new block diagram is investigated for speed control. The controller gains are designed by the solution of linear matrix inequalities to solve the Lyapunov inequality to obtain a stable and fast response and constraints on the control signal. The presented methods are verified and compared by simulations.

Examining cross‐border cultural tourism as an indicator of territorial integration across the slovak–hungarian border

There are numerous examples of cross‐border regions in Europe, which are regions not properly demarcated by national borders. One of the main driving forces of the European Union is to turn the dividing borders into connecting borders by strengthening the cohesion between states and regions, thus, encouraging regions to remedy the existing ethnic and cultural fragmentation by increasing the intensity and number of cross‐border contacts. Our research focuses on proving that, in symbolic places, such as the cross‐border area of Komárom and Komárno, the cultural values, monuments, and heritage sites are the strongest attraction factors for nationality‐based cultural tourism. To support our hypothesis, we conducted an empirical survey within the framework of the H2020 SPOT (Social and Innovative Platform on Cultural Tourism and its potential towards deepening Europeanisation) in the cross‐border region of Komárom and Komárno. The evaluation con-centrated on four aspects of cultural tourism: the nature of cultural tourism in the area, the resident and visitor perceptions of the cultural tourism offerings, opportunities to increase cross‐border col-laboration, and options to improve the cultural tourism offerings of the area. Our results show that, although there is a great potential in the cross‐border tourist destination of Komárom–Komárno, the integration of the (once united) two towns is advancing very slowly, which can be witnessed in the weaknesses of tourism integration as well.

Ion exchange with copper-tetraamine on naa (Lta) type synthesised zeolite

A crop growing in the right quantity and quality can only be secured if nutrients are provided in an adequate quantity and available form. Copper (Cu) has primary importance among microelements in growing winter wheat. Lack of Cu hinders nitrogen uptake by plants. Therefore, increasing bioavailability is important in crop production. It has been conducted successful foliar fertilisation experiments with Tetraamminecopper(II) sulphate for several years. The efficiency of the applied compound was enhanced by the application of a retarded nutrient-supply. To secure retardation, ion exchange was carried out in NaA type synthesized zeolite with Tetraamminecopper(II) sulphate. Structure of Tetraamminecopper(II) sulphate, and zeolite ion-exchanged by copper-tetraamine was analysed with a derivatograph and X-ray diffraction. Derivatograph analyses revealed heat stability. X-ray diffraction analyses revealed that copper-tetramine ions exchanged a significant part of the sodium ions of zeolite in ion exchange.

Improved control performance of the 3-DoF aeroelastic wing section: a TP model based 2D parametric control performance optimization

Based on the most recent Tensor Product model transformation solutions, the paper presents an improved control performance for the most recent version of the three Degree of Freedom aeroelastic wing section model including Stribeck friction, according to signals pitch, plunge, trailing edge and control value, based on practical engineering criteria such as overshoot, undershoot, signal end values and settling time. This is achieved through proposing a novel two dimensional parametric convex hull manipulation based method for Tensor Product model transformation based Control Design Frameworks. The approach provides two TP model representations for the different requirements of the controller and observer of a given model, opening the possibility to utilize the TP model transformation's convex hull manipulation potential in control performance optimization for a separate optimization of the two TP model representations. Numerical simulation results are provided to illustrate the control performance improvements of the aeroelastic wing section model through the proposed 2D parametric convex hull manipulation based design method.

Algorithm for D-V cells and fundamental domains, E4 space groups with broken translations in the icosahedral family

As a continuation of our earlier work [2] we extend our algorithm for E4-space groups in the icosahedral family, where non-lattice translations (broken translations) occur as well. So we obtain new 4-polytopes as fundamental domains from D-V cells of crystallographic orbits. We illustrate our situations by some characteristic examples. A computer program will produce further results.

Virtual influencer-brand collaborations: a multiple-case study of strategic design and the credibility-engagement paradox

Virtual influencers (VIs) are increasingly integrated into brand communication strategies, offering novel opportunities for audience engagement, message control, and digital differentiation. This study examines brand-virtual influencer collaborations through a multiple-case study approach, analyzing five diverse cases: Lil Miquela, Imma, Noonoouri, Lu do Magalu, and Knox Frost. The analysis focuses on brand motivations for engaging with virtual influencers, strategic design and implementation choices in VI collaborations, and their effects on consumer trust, brand perception, and engagement. Findings indicate that brands are primarily motivated by novelty, differentiation, and the ability to achieve risk-controllable visibility, while effective collaboration strategies depend on aligning virtual influencer characteristics such as form realism, ownership structure, and endorsement format with product category and communication objectives. Cross-case synthesis reveals what we conceptualize as the Credibility-Engagement Paradox: an analytical framework whereby novelty, originality, and visual distinctiveness enhance engagement and opinion leadership, while simultaneously constraining perceived credibility and trust relative to human influencers. This study advances influencer marketing theory by conceptualizing the Credibility-Engagement Paradox as an analytical framework derived from cross-case evidence, demonstrating how novelty-driven engagement and credibility formation operate as partially independent mechanisms shaped by anthropomorphism, ownership structure, and contextual accountability, while also offering actionable guidance for brands deploying virtual influencers in digital marketing ecosystems.

Hygrothermal simulations and in-situ measurements of ultra-lightweight concrete panels

The aim of the paper is to investigate the hygrothermal properties of a newly developed building panel, made of ultra-lightweight concrete, encased cold-formed steel elements. It describes the hygrothermal simulations of the wall and roof panels, and based on results, the heat transfer coefficients and linear thermal transmittances are determined. The hygrothermal behavior of main structural joints (wall corner, wall-roof and wall-ground connections) is also simulated using real indoor and outdoor conditions. For validating the results, a model building was investigated.

Optimizing Sustainability in Bridge Projects: A Framework Integrating Risk Analysis and BIM with LCSA According to ISO Standards

Building bridges sustainably is essential for advancing infrastructure development and ensuring long-term environmental, social, and economic viability. This study presents a framework that integrates risk management strategies and Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) standards to enhance bridge project sustainability. Through a targeted survey, the study evaluates risks across bridge lifecycle phases, identifying the main processes that significantly impact sustainability. Using the Pareto Principle, the framework prioritizes these processes and associated risks, guiding the creation of targeted improvement guidelines aligned with ISO 9001:2015, BIM, and LCSA standards, which support high quality and efficiency. The results reveal that 38 of 55 identified risks account for 80% of the lifecycle impact, and they include the majority of those derived from international standards, underscoring their significance in sustainability efforts. Additionally, 36 of 47 main processes are subject to 80% of the impact from these vital risks, highlighting phases like Construction and Supervision as priority areas for intervention. By linking specific risks to each process within these phases, the study outlines essential guidelines and strategic measures, ensuring a focused approach to sustainable bridge development that aligns with international standards and maximizes lifecycle sustainability outcomes.

In the paper we attempt to present the same in a very beautiful and uniquely interesting picture of the Hortus Deliciarum, with St. Andrew in the leading role, representing St. John the Baptist. We compare the meaning system and the numerical structure of this the Hortus Deliciarum image to the Pala d'Oro's beautiful and unique enamel of hidden meaning, depicting the presentation of the child Christ in the 'Temple.'. On tha basis of this interpretation and comparison it can be considered as a historical background of the Aquarius mythologem and its Jung-Pauli kinds of imagination and interpretation.
